My life at SMAT
(School of Missionary Aviation Technology)
Hello,
This website will be dedicated to my life at the School of Missionary Aviation Technology otherwise known as SMAT. I am studying to be an A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) mechanic. SMAT is a one year FAA approved school which is an intense year. I will do the best that I can to doccument my experiences.
A little about me:
My name is Daniel and I am 17 years old. I have been homeschooled all of my life, although I took an aviation program through the local high school in 2008.
I want to eventually be a missionary pilot, although the Lord hasn't told me where yet, specifically for humanitarian (medical) needs.
I am a christian and grew up in a Christian and Missionary Allience church in Bolingbrook, Illinois called Fellowship Chapel. My Dad is the "Worship Pastor" there.
I have two brothers and a sister.
I went on a missions trip to Honduras in 2006 through Teen Missions International.
I worked at the local pool for 2 years before attending SMAT.
I am very good with computers and can usually fix problems with them.
I learned HTML when a friend offered to get my my own website if I did. I have done all of the formating for this website
I hope you enjoy this website as much as I have enjoyed making it!
Until next time,
Dan'L™
